From 2D area to out of system

Hello everybody
I’m having troubles trying to model a sewer pipe, that collects the water that flows from the river into the sewage system.

In particular i would like to let some water, that propagates inside my 2D area, go to a storage area (or out of system) through a pipe or a culvert. Is that somehow possible?

i tryed the coordi-culvert method but it helps only if the water goes within the same 2D area.

You can try extending your mesh to a region that does not impact your study area and coordi-culvert the outfall pipe to that region to evaluate the volume/flow leaving the system which then you can use the output DSS to enter into a separate model entirely. Multiple meshes may work but im trying to visualize your scenario….an image may help guide better advice
