I am thinking to make a lidded cross section since I have a cross section in upstream and down stream and I will get few cross section with in the culvert with interpolation so I can get the real opening of the culvert.
just wondering will it give me the correct water flow level in steady flow analysis?

Is there any other way than lidded cross section ?
like can we make fish baffle by adding inline structure?

my culvert opening is just 6 feet so I wanna restrict my flow with in 6 foot in the lidded cross section so the water level can raise. it looks like I have wide opening in lidded cross section since I do not have the proposed contour in that section I am creating the lidded cross section in the existing ground but wanna restrict the flow with in 6 foot of the opening but the opening looks more than 10 ft

I made a series of culvert with lidded cross section in between two culvert.
This culvert is proposed to extend the 25 ft in upstream so I do not have proposed contour or cross section of 25 ft upstream side
I created a culvert I have a issue regarding the cross section how water flow in culvert and lidded cross section. is there any way that I can control water flow only in the perimeter of lidded cross section same like in culvert so that that I can get the exact water elevation in the lidded cross section. my water is flowing outside of lidded cross section

I created one with the hec ras with lidded cross section
it looks like this but I got a problem that my 100 yr energy grade line over top the culvert
could you please get some help?order=”0″/>

could you help me how to adjust my energy grade line and how can I fix the wall of lidded cross section
do I need to add the influence area flow in the lidded cross section

I have a culvert length of 137 ft
upstream culvert station 544.19 with slope 4.5% other one is change of slope st 519.19 with slope 6.62% and downstream culvert at 407.19. where should I begin my culvert at 544.19 or 519.19 or else and where should I add lid I am so confuse
which station should I add lid can I fix my invert elevation of the lid

Do I need to make two different culvert and connect them for 2 different slope or can I make one culvert with variable slope?
I tried to connect two station of different slope
I have st 544.19 to start my culvert with 4.5% slope and other 6.62% slope begins from st 519.19. I have upstream station at 550 now
I created first culvert at upstream 544.19 with upstream 550 and tried to create one more culvert at downstream of slope change at 519.19 but I am confuse what upstream distance do I need to enter (as 519.19-519.9=0 or 550-519.19=30.81 and same as width what do u need to enter. I am tried to connect two culvert for my different slope.
I tried to make 2 culvert with different slope and try to connect but the second culvert in downstream that I wanna tie with first one I am confuse in upstream distance do I need to put zero
my different in slope distance is 25ft (544.19-519.19) and remaining length is 112 ft
    could you help me ?
or can I do lid in cross sextion and make different slope so that one culvert will solve my issue?
