    Hi Scott and Cameron,

Thank you so much for you advices.

I checked an certainly it is an issue with the terrain and the embackments over the terrain.

Do you know what it is the best option to erase the height of the embackments into the terrain in Arcmap? and in this way, to uniformize the DEM with the cell height of the neighbours cells.

I am looking on internet how to do it, but I do not find the way to eliminate the embackments in the terrain.

    Thank you,

    Sara

    Hi,

No, this is not my question. I am adapting a 1D model with Uniform Lateral Inflows and Lateral Inflow Hydrographs extending along several cross sections into a 2D model.

In the 2D model, what I am doing is to create boundary conditions inside of the 2D mesh starting in the cross section where the inflow starts extending until the end of the cross section where this inflow uniformally distributed ends, however, in 2D the only option available is to locate flow hydrographs, neither lateral inflow hydrograhs or uniform inflows.

My solution is to include all these data as a flow hydrographs in boundary conditions in 2D that extends the same distance between the cross sections in which the lateral and uniform flows are located in 1D, as I told you, but I do not know if this is the correct way to do it.

    Thank you,

    Sara

    Hi,

Could you tell me in which part of the manual is explained this part of the internal boundary conditions in a 2D mesh?

I am looking into HEC RAS 2D Modelling user’s manual (Version 5.0) but I could not find it.

    Thank you,

    Sara

    Hi Jarvus,

I did as you explained, but I get the following error when I reopened the geoemtry data.

XS Htab Starging elevations – The following XS’s had hTab starting values below the XS invert. The values were reset to defaults and wull be saved next time the geoemtry is saved.

River: Paglia Reach: Reach 1 RS: -12000

River: Paglia Reach: Reach 1 RS: -12100

Also when I run the simulation I get,

***** Warning! Extrapolated above Cross Section Table at: *****

    Paglia Reach 1 from R.S. -12000.* to -12100

    Thank you,

    Sara
