    The HEC 2 file does have ‘dat” extension.

    I cannot get a flow distribution for the confluence reach.

    The average flow for 110 ac-ft over a 5 minute breach is only 1,600 cfs. I=
    t may be the timing of the peak inflow versus peak outflow for the breach i=
    s sufficiently different that the flow comes out the same. There will be s=
    ome attenuation of the peak flow in the reservoir depending on the time of =
    the peak inflow versus the start of the breach since you are failing the da=
    m due to overtopping.
