    When you say your model is noticeably off, how much off is it and what are you comparing the depth to?

    One thing I would suggest is looking at your grid cell size and your time step in the model. This leads to my last question, have you calculated your courant number? Check out page 111 in the HEC-RAS 2D Modeling Users Manual. This is important in keeping your result stable.

    What value did you use for the EG Slope for distributing flow along the BC Line?

    The smaller the value the more flow will spread out across your BC line and cause the flooding you see.

    Have you checked to see if any 2D cell faces are at a higher elevation than the lateral weir elevations? Sometimes the average cell face elevation will be higher than the later weir elevations pulled from the terrain.

    Have you made sure your geometry associations are correct in RAS Mapper?
