Thanks for the reply. My flows haven’t changed from previous runs that gave me no problems, however, the geometry has changed in the 1D portions. The bed elevations now change more drastically between cross sections, but I haven’t been able to resolve the issue by smoothing the transitions. Time step is 30 sec. I thought maybe it was an error in the 2D since the WSEL and error increases quite a bit in 2D cells before crashing, which it seems to be if your model is all 2D. However, I have not altered my 2D portions since getting the model to run successfully. I was hoping someone would have insight to the error code to help me know where to look next. Also, I get the same error when running both high and low flow events. Does any of this info help you?
