    Hi,
    So why exactly are you trying to model your case in HEC-RAS. In dam-break experiments usually what we want to observe is the depth distribution of the velocity. For you first case you have a long rectangular channel that will be mainly 1D, except in the reservoir.

    What is the ultimate goal of our simulation?

    If you are looking for DTM in the US, then go to http://viewer.nationalmap.gov/viewer/ and zoom to your Interest Area and select Elevation Index>DEM Product Index from the drop down menu at the right.

    Thanks. I have go through all the bridge geometry and I can’t find any error. I suppose it is just a graphical representation error.
