WSE values does not correspond from rasmapper interface to profile output table

Hi,

I’m running a 1D/2D model in version 5.0.7. Exceptionnaly, in this model I have different WSE values when I look in the Profile Output Table compare to what i get by pointing the map in the Rasmapper interface. I made sure the plan was run a second time to make sure I had the latest parameters set to this plan. I also look at the same time step.

I am not new to HECRAS modeling and I had many projects run in the last 2 years, but it is the first time I’m noticing this weird one.

Hope someone have a clue for me.

Since this is 1D2D, my suspicion is that the results are not reflective of the underlying terrain. What that means is that I would not expect a 1D XS output in the table to match the RAS Mapper results if the 1D XS contains bathymetry not implemented in the terrain. If this is the case trust and document your Standard Table -1 output table results rather than anything from RAS Mapper
