Write a flow hydrograph data in an unsteday flow file

I computed the flow hydrograph on one of my corss sections. Now i want to insert this flow data in the unsteady flow file of a 2d flow area. I already initiated a flow hydrograph data input of 0 in the 2d flow area. However i want to replace this 0 data with the flow hydrograph i computed in the first step

Hi sam1,

You can do that editing the unsteady flow file (.u01) of your model. Nowadays, I do that using python. If you want to understand more how to write these flow hydrographs take a look at the book “Breaking the HEC-RAS Controller” or just open your Unsteady Flow file (.u01) using Notepad.
