    Hello,

I am currently working on a water quality model with version 5.0.2. I would like to automate the process of writing the climate data and running the water quality model (radiation, temperature, etc.). So far I have been able to produce the tables in the .Wxx files with Matlab. I am also able to run the water quality model by calling the WQNet.exe program with the .BCxx file as an input argument.

However there is a function in the RAS.exe that transforms the water quality data from the .Wxx file to the .BCxx format, but I do not know its name or how to call it. The HEC-RAS Controller does not allow manipulating water quality functions so it does not help. It is the only link missing to automate the chain.

For reference, I plan to automate the reading of water quality outputs through HEC-DSSVue and its Excel VBA module.

If anyone can help me with this I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks and kind regards

As you I ran the water quality model using the following command in Matlab

    !WQNET.exe file.bcxx

However, the program that write the outputs to DSS is not running. Perhaps do you know how to run it?
