    Hello,

I am attempting to perform a water temperature analysis using HEC RAS 4.1. I have completed an unsteady flow analysis with the “Computation Level Output” box checked. I’ve also entered my water quality data set (boundary conditions, meteorological time series, dispersion coefficients and initial conditions) which completely overlaps the unsteady hydraulic data set.

When I attempt to run the water quality analysis, I get a message that says “Run-time error ‘6’: Overflow.”

I can’t find any information about how to trouble shoot and resolve this error.

Any help or guidance you can provide would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Gabe

I rechecked all my water quality input files, and there in the appropriate units, and time series’.

Since this error message comes up immediately when I try to run the water quality analysis (e.g., the water quality analysis doesn’t run at all), I don’t think the issue is with the water quality analysis… So perhaps I need to re-review the unsteady hydraulic model. Although it runs, there are some errors. Also, I may try to change the computational time step, although I don’t have much hope that that will solve my problem.

    Gabe
