Hello i’m new on Hec Ras and i have this error when i run the model 1D/2D

***** Warning! Extrapolated above Cross Section Table at: *****

    RIVER RIVER from R.S. 1967.767 to 1847.869
    RIVER RIVER R.S. 1740.299
    RIVER RIVER from R.S. 1661.744 to 1498.451
    RIVER RIVER from R.S. 215.4780 to 13.84497

The maximum xsec wsel error was 20.662
    RIVER RIVER 1591.581 at 17MAY2018 02:02:04

**** The Model Has One Or More Warning(s) ****

    Finished Unsteady Flow Simulation

I’m using this time step :

    Computation interval : 2 seconds
Mapping output interval : 4 seconds

    Any solutions ?

Try increasing the maximum WSE for those cross-sections in the Htab parameters. The Htab parameter table is accessible from an icon labeled “Htab” that is included in the left (vertical) toolbar in the main window of the geometry editor.

If you’re using a lateral structure in your model. Try doing using the option of solving by “Normal 2D equation ” instead of the default “Weir Equation”. It worked fro me.

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply, infact i use a lateral structure and i already try this option, for now i have this error :

***** Warning! Extrapolated above Cross Section Table at: *****

    TORRAS TORRAS from R.S. 1967.767 to 1

The maximum xsec wsel error was 1.127

    Unsteady Flow Computations(64) 1:01
    Writing to DSS(64) <1
    Post-Processing(64) 2

How can i reduce this error and stabilize my model. I already try to modified my Htab Parameters, my time step, 1D/2D options, and use 2D equations..

    Someone have another solution ?

    Best regards

    Jeff
