I am new at HEC-RAS and am looking for some guidance on view the results of a sediment transport analysis. Upon successfully running the sediment analysis, I went to View the 3 plots that are available for sediment analysis (Sediment Spatial plot, sediment time series plot, and Sediment-xs bed change plot). The same issue happens with all 3 plots; “No data for plot”.

In attempt to fix this, I went to the files tab in the plot window and it was selected. Next, I went to reaches..and here’s the problem: its an empty box (same with profile and variables tabs).

It may be important to note that I am able to see the schematic plot, but no data is being shown for the Profile plot and table options.

Any help and advice is appreciated.

    Hello,

I am having the same problem. Have you found a solution?

RAS is designed to produce minimal output to keep the files small. To make the sediment transport output available for the graphic displays the output variables need to be selected (under Sediment Transport Analysis) – Options- Sediment Output Options. This leads you to a menu of what output you would like to see and where. The RAS 4.1 sample data file for Euclid Sediment Transport might be useful to look at.
