    Hi,

Is it possible to import a shapefile of a river centerline and bank lines and then convert them to the correct geometry features in RAS Mapper? I can import them as a map layer and then trace it, but I would like to avoid that if possible since it is a long reach with several scenarios.

    Thank in advance!

You can import them into mapper, select them, copy them, and then paste them to the layer you want (river or bank lines). This is all done by right clicking on the line, selecting copy, and then selecting the layer you want to copy and selecting paste.

Hm, I tried that without success… but I did get an answer from a colleague and got it to work by importing the shapefile in the layer properties. Thanks for the reply!
