I try to update the cross section elevation data with measured point data in Hec-GeoRas. It takes ages and there are many error messages while updating:
Additionally many points fail to update and ArcMap crashes frequently. Do you have any idea how to improve the updating process? Since points are almost on top of Cross section data I choose 1 map unit within the bank line extents.
Any help or similar experience? Is it important to have the updating points with the same data source?
Is Hec-GeoRas the only solution to update cross section data with point data or are there any other solutions?
