Update on RAS controller for Water Quality Simulations

Hello,

I would like to use the RAS controller to extract output variables from the water quality simulation. I found an older forum post about this topic here:

Is it possible to use the RAS controller for water quality simulations in the latest 5.0.7 version?

If not, has anyone successfully opened the binary output file “.wqxx” in python or visual basic?
