    Hello,

I have a problem, I´m performing an unsteady flow simulation and min output time step available is 1 min, but for my model I need much shorter time step – about 2 – 5 sec. Is there a way how to get datas in this much shorter step – for example from any file hec ras created during the simulation?

    Thank you!

    Petra

    Hi Petra

What is computation interval in the project? Because output interval must be greater than copmutation interval.

    greetings

    Hi,

computational interval is set to 2 sec, so I would like to get outputs results in step of 5 sec but there is no such possibility available.

    Thanks P.

The output intervals in RAS must be interger multiples of the computational interval. The computational time step is usually the smallest one. The output interval needs to be small enough to capture the peak flows/stages, but large enough to keep that output file sizes reasonable.
