    Hi,

I am trying to run a 2D model connecting to a 1D river using the normal 2D equation.
When I split the lateral structures to make them aroun 500m lenght and avoid problems weir/cell elevation, I face another problem when the same 2D cell is shared by two LS and using the normal 2D equation:

Two lateral structures cannot be connected to the same [2D] cell unless
both lateral structures are using the Weir equation.

Could you give a hint in how to solve this issue?

    Thank you!

Either add a computation point, so there is another mesh cell for one of the LS. Or shorten one of the LS a little, so it ends in a different mesh cell.

Yea the most simple way is to click edit>add point> and add a few points between them, This will force the mesh to recompute and should resolve this error
