I am developing a 2D rain-on-grid model and am using TRMM 3-hour gridded rainfall data as a global meteorological boundary condition. The file I am importing is in NetCDF format. I can see the rainfall animation in RAS Mapper under ‘Event Conditions’ after loading the NetCDF rainfall file. But when I run the model, it only takes the first time step of the rainfall for the calculation, and therefore I get zero depth of water everywhere. Do I need to change any settings to resolve this issue?

I tried converting NetCDF file into DSS format in case the file format is creating this problem, but I am not able to convert NetCDF into DSS using HEC-Vortex or HEC-GridUtil. Let me know if the file format is the issue and how I can change it to DSS.

    You need to learn HEC-MetVue
