    Hi everyone!

I need to know the volume of water in a reach for a certain elevation? Like a elevation-storage volume curve.

There are a easy way to export elevation-area of all the cross sections? Probably it will be the only way right?

    Thanks

Not if this will help, but what you can do is specify a water surface elevation for each cross-section. You then can take the area and reach lengths between each cross-section to come up with the volume of water for the reach.

If you want elevation-area for each cross-section, you can use the rating curve button and change the variables to what you are looking for. This will only show one cross-section at a time so you would need to copy and paste each one cross-section to excel.

You can get the volume of water in the reach. First specify the water surface you want at each cross section and run the model with Steady flow.
Next, open up the Profile Output Table. Go to Options>Define Table and scroll down and select Volume.

Suggest that you look at the capability of RAS to export the storage-volume data from several computed water surface profiles. It’s found within the Geometric Data editor – Options – Hydrologic Unsteady Routing. This capabilty was built for situations that the full unsteady flow equation solution might experience problems.
