Before added a storage area and lateral weirs the model ran ok. I added the storage area and gave it the bottom elevation and acre feet. I added a lateral weir along the side of the reach tailwatering into the pond. The existing canal running alongside the pond has bottom el of 3.04′, the pond bottom is 6′. The lateral has two weirs with a culvert under each one. all of the elevations are good. The lateral does extend 1400′ downstream attaching itself to other xsecs as it goes along.

    When I run I get:
HED-RAS Error – Incomplete unsteady flow data, the following errors were found:
plan file: gives the address of the plan file
geom file: gives the address of the geometry file
flow file: gives the address of the flow file

Storage Area: “Ex Pond” has a minimum elevation specified in the geometry as 6(ft) and is connected to : “LS: RS=45800” which has a minimum elevation of 3.04′

I don’t see the error to fix. Any help?

A storage area cannot have a connection that is lower than the lowest point of the storage area. So it looks like the bottom of the SA is 6.0 feet.

So does the lateral weir at 45800 have any station/elevation point on the weir that is lower than 6.0 feet?

Also, the downstream side of the culverts (the side connected to the SA) must be at 6.0 or higher.
