the initial segment of the reach is steep (approx. 2.3%) the cross sections through this area cannot compute a flow. also the flows being inserted at cross sections throughout this reach do not match the linked flows from the DSS file. to solve, I have added interpolated cross sections, deleted out the steep area, put dummy cross section in to flatten the area. every solution has helped one profile, but hurt another. what works for the 25 yr 24 hr storm, won’t work for the 5 yr 24 hr storm. this is a multi reach model that uses HMS peak flows as inputs throughout to ultimately evaluate 14 structures service level. any thoughts?
