    I am using reach length of 200km with slope=0.004 of rectangular cross section width 100m and using stage hydrograph as boundary condition of upstream. I couldn’t RUN it as it shows “Stage (s) in time series data are below the cross section minimum”. so is it necessary to add elevation in stage data or what may be the problem.

    Your lowest point of your cross section is simply lower than the stage hydrograph. You will have to specify a higher stage value.
