    Hi!
I have two doubts about skewing sections.
    First:
I have a bridge between two sections that are skewed 60º but the geometry of the bridge only lets a maximum skew of 45º… How does it affect to the computation? Is there any way to solve this mismatch?
    Second:
If I interpolate between to sections, one of them with a skew of 45º and the other with no skew… Must I skew the resulting interpolated sections or the programm just considerate by itself this progressive skew in the computation?
Thanks for your attention and answers.

Hey Jordi. Did you get the solution to that?

In this case i usually use civil3d to first create a cross section that is completely adjacent to the bridge and only a maximum of 5 feet away from the original cross section (US and DS of the proposed bridge). Then I rotate the cross section in civil3d to be exactly adjacent to the bridge.

Once this is done copy the cross section in HEC RAS and give it a correct station number 5 feet away from the original station. (Dont forget to adjust reach lengths DS) Now go into the “XS cut line table” and scroll to the new Cross Section. Now go back to Civil3d and select the new cross section and type in the command “list” copy and past this X and Y data into HEC-RAS and you should now have a cross section where a skew is not needed and is also geo referenced.
