Sediment transport – wrong deposition at inline structure

Hi, I’m performing a sediment transport simulation in a river with a lot of bridge and inline structure. In particular, I have a problem at a specific inline structure.
As you can see in the image below, I got a 0 m/s water velocity upstream the weir and deposition stops many meters before it (purple line).

But it’s wrong, because I should get the following profile…

I was wondering if it’s correct represent a weir made by large cobble with a continuos inline structure. Maybe am I neglecting filtration phenomena between rocks?

I have other inline structures in my model, but the river’s lenght upstream of them is much smaller and more pending. Can you suggest something to do? Thank you.
