I have been running a sediment model using quasi steady state flow series with sediment inputs at different sections along the river. When using HECRAS V5.0 Beta and looking closely at the accumulated sediment in and out of each section (using output level 6), the sediment loads are added correctly. However, when using both HECRAS V5.0 and V5.0.1 the sediment is being added at the correct location but is also added at the next downstream section for some (but not all) of the cross-sections at which the sediment input is defined. For the recently released V5.0 and V5.0.1 models this effectively doubles up the sediment load at different locations of the model causing havoc with the sediment concentration estimates. Any suggestions?
