Hi,
I am currently working on a project utilizing the HEC RAS 2D sediment model for a river spanning approximately 70 km in length and 2 km in width. The river configuration involves two perimeters in the 2D flow area, upstream of the barrage and downstream connected with the SA 2D connector.
During the simulation, the HD run operates smoothly with gate operation. But, when I introduce the sediment boundary, an error occurs in the simulation. I am seeking your expertise to identify where are the mistakes in my approach.
My query is whether the 2D HEC RAS model, in conjunction with the SA 2D connector, is incompatible with the sediment model. The sediment model works well without the SA 2D connector and only one perimeter in the 2D area which includes both upstream and downstream area.
