“Run-time error ‘831’: invalid property array index”

Hi – I am running a linked 1D-2D model. At the end of simulation, a window pops up with the following error. When I click ‘ok’, HEC-RAS closes downs – upon reopening, I can view 2D results only, but not 1D results (e.g. long profile plots, summary tables), so presumably they have not been written.

The model was running fine previously – I made some minor geometry changes as well as increasing Mapping Output Interval from 1hr to 20 mins, compared to previous models.

Can anyone suggest why this might be happening? Thanks!

I don’t know why you are getting that. But I would force RAS to recompute the mesh and see if it fixes it.

On the 2D Area Editor, there is a button “Force Mesh Recomputation”. Note, if you have moved any cell centers by hand, you will lose that.
