run HEC-RAS in DOS console

Did anyone have experience in running an unsteady model in Dos Console? I have tried using RAS commend, it already promoting the GUI, which I don’t want to have. Gurus, any inputs? thanks!

Not from the DOS Console, but you can run HEC-RAS from Excel. Check this post: and the book “Breaking the HEC-RAS Code”.

Thanks Chris. I did read your new post about RAS controller and have tried in Excel. It’s working! however, I need more than that. I have ordered your book from Amazon. Hopefully it will help all my questions.
