Resolving ERROR: Desk width + distance…

Hi can you please help, when i try to do Bridge analysis on HEC-RAS the following error appears. I understand the error but i do not know how to resolve it:

HEC-RAS Error – Incomplete data, the following errors were found:
River: “BRIDG 1” Reach: “CENTER STREAM LA” RS:7.503 BR
– Deck width + distance is greater than or equal to the length between bounding cross sections. HEC-RAS require a positive distance from the end of the bridge/culvert to the next cross section downstream.

The width of the deck of your bridge plus the distance from upstream cross-section is greater than the reach length between the upstream and downstream cross-sections. to fix it, you need to adjust the width of the bridge deck or distance to upstream cross-section.
