I am exporting a HEC-RAS file from ACAD 2014 Civil 3D. When I import the data into HEC-RAS my reach does not go through my x-sect’s. It extends from 0,0 and ends at my first x-sec’s. I have done multiple things to remedy this but I can’t fix it. Any suggestions? Also, can you export a .flt file from cad for the RAS-Mapper? I am trying to delineate the WS along a stream and would like to be able to export the results from HEC-RAS back to cad-Is this possible?
Jake,
When I imported from CAD to HEC-RAS, I had the same problem so I manually edited the centerline in HEC-RAS using Edit-move object. To export from HEC-RAS to CAD: Create profile plot, then go to File-write dxf file, then import to CAD. I hope this helps if not please let me know.
