    Hello,

I’am totally in trouble with the RC outlet curve editor in HEC RAS.

Basically i need to model a bottom spillway of a DAM for which is know the relation H-Q.

So I just drawn my spillway in the geometry editor and I copied the coordinates in the EditGISDataTable of the outlet centerline table in RC curve editor.
I also specifed the outlet width and the stationing along the SD/2D connection structure. The H-Q curve was also specified in the outlet rating curve table.

I noticed that only in RAS mapper is possible to visualize the outlet centerline but not in geometry editor.

When i try to run the model i get this message:

    SA/2D Connection: Dam
” – Outlet RC: has GIS coordinates that do not intersect the structure GIS centerline”

I have tried everything but nothing seems to work.

    Any suggestion?

    D.
