Viewing results in RasMapper I noticed some graphic changes.
    For example:
    1) when I plot the Hydraulic Connectivity for Depth (or WSE) there are blu and (in some cases) violet arrows (see the image) What is the difference?

    How are assigned the connectivities?

    2) Regarding to the 2D Flow Area, if I add the “Mesh Face Numbers”, is displayed the Face Number of each cell and an arrow with a verse. What does mean the arrow?
I thought it was the “face direction” frow the lower Face Point to the upper , but it was wrong (I checked it).

    Any suggestions, documents, references?
    Thanks to everybody.

Not sure for question 1, but question 2 the arrows should represent which way the flow is positive and direction the cross-section stationing are taken from.

    Hi Cameron,
what do you mean as “which way the flow is positive…”?
I have this flow direction for every time step:

So I didn’t understand how is possible that the face “21046” (for example) was considered with a “flow direction” positive in opposite direction…
    Can you explain me, please?

Flow direction is positive if downstream direction has the cell face running left to right.

Lonnie this is my doubt… How are oriented the cell faces?
Along a 2DArea Connection I have this situation:

Look at faces 54868 and 54276: why do they have opposite directions???

The arrow is just pointing to which way the cell face cross-section stationing goes and is similar to a 1D cross-section. Flow is positive in one direction across the face and negative in the other direction. In 1D modeling you draw your cross-sections left to right looking downstream. 2D uses the same concept left to right. for cell face 54868 if flow is going from the east to west, it would be a negative flow. For cell face 54276, flow going east to west would be positive.

You can plot the discharge of each cell face to see what I mean.
