So as a temporary condition for construction I’m needing to model a bridge crossing and right at the downstream end of the bridge they are sticking another temporary construction crosses that uses pipes. Wondering what anyone’s thoughts are on modeling that. There is no space between the end of the bridge opening and the start of the pipe crossing. I was thinking of converting the bridge cross sections to lidded cross sections. Does that sound like a reasonable approach?

You could just model them as a single structure or do lidded cross-sections.

If the wse does not reach the low chord of the bridge or pipe crossing then you could just model it as cross-sections.
