    Hello everyone!

I’m trying to perform an unsteady flow simulation in a very steep river using HEC-RAS 5.0.4 (mean slope of approximately 7%).
To do that, I’m using a Modified Puls Routing on the steepest part of the river. For low flows, the simulation became unstable. But when I set a minimum value, the simulation ends without any problems. The problem is that when I analyze the results in the Summary Output Tables by Profile, all the data are fixed in some specified value as specified in image 1 (the input hydrograph is shown in image 2).

I tried to run a simulation without using the Modified Puls Routing, but inserting an inline structure to represent the drops in the bed profile, but the tables continued to show the same values. When I analyze the results in RAS MAPPER, the data seem to be ok.
What could be the source of this problem?

Thank you very much for your attention!
Any help on this issue is much appreciated.

I would switch to using the most recent version of HEC-RAS (5.0.7) and see if that makes any difference.

When you turned of modified pulse, did you just uncheck the box or did you delete all of the regions as well?
