    Hello everyone,
I am having some problem with exporting the RAS data. After exporting RAS data from HEC-GeoRAS (ArcGIS version 10), the cross section cutline plots are showing different nature in the Geometric data. For example, image A is the plot for a cross section cutline in HEC-GeoRAS. But after exporting, the plot of the same cutline is looking totally different in HEC-RAS (image B). Moreover bank stations are deviated from their locations in geometric data. Can anyone help me in this?
    Thanks!

Your stationing looks very small and could be the problem, is the data in a correct horizontal projection?

Thanks a lot Cameron. The projection system is GCS_WGS_1984. Actually the geometric data is showing a simplified curve of the XS Cutlines, I don’t know why. But the bank stations are completely deviated.

    Hello Cyril,
Use UTM projection for everything. Means the raster file (DEM/TIN), all the vector files and the ArcGIS project. It should work. Try and let me know.

    Best regards,
    Susanta
