I am using HEC-RAS 5.0.3 for unsteady flow and sediment transport calculation. The stream bed is step at the end of inflow. The unsteady flow modelling is fine except that the velocity is higher at the end of inflow. The picture of velocity and water surface profile are attached in below.
However the sediment calculation cause instability at the end of inflow.
I tried to modify the computation interval, min bed change, and min XS change, but there is no improvement.
Does anyone has similar experience for solving this problem? Many Thanks.
