I am facing a problem using Ras Mapper. Geotiff file is being imported smoothly. But after few minutes its starting giving error. Kindly suggest something. This for HEC RAS 5.0 Beta version.

I have had a similar issue before that I worked around by changing the Rounding (Precision) value.

Hey thanks a lot for replying. What do you mean by precision? is it the precision which is asked to set while importing terrain data? if that is the case, it is 128 for SI units. I am using SI units. Then how do I change that precision?

Yes it is the precision when importing terrain data. It is a drop down menu so you should be able to change it some something else.

what does this rounding(precision)do? why are there 2 set of precision numbers? (1/10,1/100,1/1000 and 1/16,1/32, 1/128 , 1/1024)

Hi, I got the solution. There was no problem with precision. One thing which I found is that when you import the new terrain data, first check the terrain window appearing on the left side and then import the data. There is no problem if done so.
