PostProcessing ArcMap [ESRI]

Hi everybody

I was trying to import ,dam.RASexport.sdf’ to ArcMap 10 [ESRI].
Steps:
1. Convert RAS Export SDF to XM- successfully completed
2. Layer Setup for Hec-RAS PostProcessing- successfully completed
3. Import RAS Data- unsuccessfully

Do you have experience with this problem?

Therefore I was doing postprocessing in the ArcView 3.2 [successfully].
But postproccesing in ArcMap has capability Visualization (2D Animation or publish KML) and ArcView hasn’t.

Ensure your map is in the same coordinate system as the RAS model. Also if the process persists I have found that sometime you have to move the files to a location on your hard drive vs a network server to work.

another option would be to use RAS Mapper to generate the floodplains and then import the shapefiles to ArcMap.
