    The hecras 5.0.3 can not load a jpg file as a river reach background image! please help me to solve the problem

    I guess I have problem to make a projection with specified file. Make sure the file is a valid ESRI projection (*.prj) file.

    Actually, I need a background picture to draw a river reach, I don’t know how to find a ESRI stuff.

    The ESRI prj file is different than the HEC-RAS prj file. You need to determine which projection you are working in and create a prj file that represents that either in GIS or download from a website.
