No Inflow to 2D area

Hi!

I set up a model with a 1D river reach upstream and 2D flow area Downstream and connected the 2D Elements via the last cross section to the river reach. The cells are dry in the beginning of the Simulation, the cross sections got 20m³/s Initial flow. The Simulation directly stops due to Instability at the last Cross Section before the 2D area and there is no flow going to the 2D area. Do you have any suggestions why it is Happening?

At the start of the simulation, you need some water in the 2D area or else the 1D is going to have a problem.

Under the 2D Flow Options, specify an Initial Conditions time for the 2D area (if you haven’t already done this).
