Negative values in Cross section attributes

Dear all,

I was doing flood inundation mapping using HecGeoRAS and HecRAS. While preparing geometry data in HecGeoRAS, while populating data in the attributes of Xcutlines, it generated negative values of RLength as shown in figure below which later while simulating the data in HecRAS created problem saying cross section with negative values. Do any body have any idea about the solution?

This can happen if cross sections cross-cross each other. Also, it happens when you draw your flow lines the wrong direction. However, since only some of the reach lengths are negative, I’d assume it’s a criss-crossing issue.
