    Hi,

I have the following error in a bridge of my model when I run an unsteady flow simulation.
    The error is the following:

    –PROGRAM ABORTED–
    NEGATIVE AREA IN SUBROUTINE CONVEY
    BETWEEN STATION 1813.04 AND 2035.76
    Paglia Reach 1 -12172.7
THIS IS USUALLY CAUSED BY BAD STATION/ELEVATION DATA
IF THIS NODE HAS A WEIR (BRIDGE etc.) CHECK THE ROAD DECK DATA CAREFULLY

Someone knows how can be corrected these error?

I checked the elevation/station data of the bridge, and increase the value of the htab of the bridge, but the problem does not dissapear. I also checked the hydraulic properties table, the htab curves of the bridges and looks well as well.

    Thank you,

    Sara

    Hello,

Did you manage to solve this problem?

    Thanks

Easiest fix is to find the stations its calling out in the bridge editor and move the points by 0.01.

Hi, I bumped into the same error for my bridge and I cannot solve even by eliminating pair data. The U. analysis gives me the “negative area in subroutine convey” error between x e y stations
What could be the key of this problem? I tried to raise HW max elevation, but it doesn’t work

    Hi Lonnie

I have the same error for different bridges since I have 8. But the error message said NEGATIVE AREA IN SUBROUTINE CONVEY BETWEEN STATION 121.39 AND 126.94 but I don’t have that river stations name because I have sections every 10 meters.

So, how can I fix this problem and where. Also, I changed Htab table but I doesn’t work
