have a road mostly lower than the surrounding land in a swamp which i am going to add culverts to S/A connections. Have to group culverts together to keep it under 8 groups. Could I add a short S/A connection at each section of culverts crossings? Would each connection allow 8 groups? Or is that just a thing for 1D bridge/Culverts?

I guess the only way to update terrain surface elevations is to create a new terrain with the updated surface?
