Hello all,
I am trying to model subsidence of the Mississippi River. I have a geometry file from river mile 102.7 (Carrollton) to Head of Passes (about river mile 0). Let’s assume I want to modify the geometry to represent subsidence in the future, about 2 feet. I want to fix the US cross section and subside the DS cross section 2 feet. The cross sections in between should be dropped according to the resulting slope. I am working with the channel design/modification to work with a range of cross sections and can project them at a slope from the US c/s. It gives me the correct elevations, but will not write to new file. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Linsey
