Hi everyone,

I was solving unstedy flow from dam break failure. I noticed of interesting thing:

1. Mild vs. steep channel (printscreen: User Manual, p. 527)

2. Mild channel (my project)

Flow depth is greater than the Critical depth (subcritical flow)- it is ok.

3. Steep channel (my project)

Flow depth is greater than the critical depth (supercritical flow)- I think, that this is wrong. Can you advise me?

Hi Robert,

your prints seem to me like subcritical flow at both channels…
