hi, i am modeling an area using precipitaion as a boundary condition. since for the actuall Version 5.0.3 a gridded precipitation is not possible, i want to modell single 2d flow areas and connect them in the end. it will be around 5000. Does somebody know if there is a limited number of 2d flow areas?

No but theres a limited number of points you can use to connect them. 500. Based on the multiple areas this will be an issue also as you will need to simplify the connection to a maximum of 500 points

If you are trying to connect two different 2D areas:

You do not have to use a single 2D Area Connection. You can break the 2D Area Connection into multiple, shorter 2D Area Connections, if the 500 point limit is a problem.
