I have two 1D Unsteady models that share the same flow file and have what should be the same geometry, but different geometry files. However, one will not run and gives an error message saying, “Lateral inflows cannot be within one cross section of an internal boundary (Brdge/Culvert/…)”. Both models have an lateral inflow hydrograph at a cross-section just upstream of a bridge. I can’t figure out why one model works and the other doesn’t and now I’m wondering if the error message is real. Any feedback on if this is a real error before I go ahead with shifting the lateral inflow hydrograph up on cross-section?
Thanks, Erik
Background. I have two geometry files because the for the model that runs, the geometry file gives a schematic error message. I fixed the issue resulting in the schematic error message with the second geometry file (the file that the 2nd model uses).
