Junctions and Reverse Flow

Hello,

I am modeling a diverging reach which has a diverging reach with a tidal boundary condition on the downstream end of each diverging reach. I am expecting negative flow from the tidal boundary condition and for some reason the negative flow will not translate through the junction. Will HEC-RAS accomodate negative flows through a junction?

I have data sets with a flow split and reverse flow through a junction that work.

Do you have any special options turned on at the junction? Momentum, energy balance?
