I am working on a HEC-RAS 4.0 version model in which I wanted to disconnect a tributary and combine two reaches in the main stem. I could disconnect the tributary. In the main stem, upstream reach R5 has its lowest cross section at Station 7314 and downstream reach R4 has its upstream cross section at station 7176. But whenever I try to delete the junction and combine the main stem reaches R5 and R4, it gives me a warning “The River station in the downstream reach need to be below the river stations in the upstream reach”. Can someone please help me with this? I don’t want to redo a georas for this portion as I already set up all the cross section and structures in these reaches.

    Thank you!

I guess it is quite late for you, but it may be useful for other people. I have just had the same issue and could solve it by changing the names of the Cross sections in the upstream river in order for those in the downstream one to be below. It worked for me.
